ALICE'S SCHEDULE - Basic tenses overview

25.02.2023

In this activity, you will talk with your students about Alice's life.

First, you can talk about her DAILY ROUTINES. You get a schedule of her everyday life and activities she does every week - it is a nice practice of PRESENT SIMPLE. You can talk about that with your students with the help of additional questions supplemented below the schedule - and you can always add your own :)

Second, you can discuss Alice's NEXT WEEK PLANS with the use of FUTURE SIMPLE or GOING TO (depending on what you want to practice). Again you have additional questions which will help you lead your students through the material.

The third and the last page concerns Alice's LAST WEEK and therefore the whole speaking practice will be done through PAST TENSE.

You can also switch it up and turn it into a practice of question-making - let your students be the ones who ask questions (in the correct tense) and you will be answering.

Take what you need - you don't have to do the whole activity in one lesson. You can take only present tense if you have conversations with beginners, only past tense practice if that is what you are teaching right now and so on.
